This event is for residents of Ventura County that are interested in, actively pursuing, or already are part of the Firewise USA Program. What is Firewise USA? Lower your wildfire risk! A FREE Drop-Off Chipper Event is happening this month on May 3rd for the residents of Ventu Park! This event is being held from 8:30AM – 2:30PM at 1509 Susan Dr, Thousand Oaks, CA 91320. Reservations are encouraged and appreciated but not required. This is a great opportunity for residents to clear any excessive or hazardous vegetation! Make sure to do the vegetation work ahead of time and then bring it to the park to be chipped and hauled away. Learn more about this event at VenturaFireSafe.org/chipper.

Lower your wildfire risk by reducing overgrown vegetation on your property! The Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council is hosting a Curbside Chipper Event for any residents within the city of Santa Paula on April 2 & 3! Each resident that REGISTERS will do their own yard work and set all their ready-to-chip vegetation into a neatly formed stack at the end of their driveway by April 1st. On the days of the event, a crew will drive by with a chipper and chip their vegetation and either haul the chips away or keep them on site, to be determined at registration.
