The 2024 Conference is on Thursday October 24th, at the Ventura County Office of Education Conference Center at 5100 Adolfo Road, Camarillo.

Evolving from our 2004 theme, this year’s conference “Rebuilding Common Ground” will look at housing changes and trends over the last 20 years and visions for the next 20 years.

Launched in 2002 the annual Ventura County Housing Conference mission was and still is to provide a practical, action-oriented symposium that results in:

• New and improved programs, tools and solutions for housing creation at all levels, especially at lower income levels,

• Greater understanding of issues surrounding housing in the region, and

• Enriched partnerships and cooperation between organizations and individuals.

The 2024 Conference is on Thursday October 24th and will expand to a 2/3-day format. Evolving from our 2004 theme, this year’s conference “Rebuilding Common Ground” will look at housing changes and trends over the last 20 years and visions for the next 20 years. It will include:

• Two sessions for small-group discussion on several key housing issues

• Review of current and proposed housing legislation

• CSUCI Ventura County housing survey presentation

• Highlight an innovative local project

• Networking sessions for attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors

• The 2024 Carmen Ramirez Housing Advocacy Award

• Breakfast and lunch selections
