Lower your wildfire risk! A FREE Drop-Off Chipper Event is happening this month on May 3rd for the residents of Ventu Park! This event is being held from 8:30AM – 2:30PM at 1509 Susan Dr, Thousand Oaks, CA 91320. Reservations are encouraged and appreciated but not required. This is a great opportunity for residents to clear any excessive or hazardous vegetation! The Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council is hosting a Curbside Chipper Event for any residents in the Ondulando Neighborhood in Ventura on March 6 and 7! Each resident that REGISTERS will do their own yard work and set all their ready-to-chip vegetation into a neatly formed stack at the end of their driveway by March 5th. On the days of the event, a crew will drive by with a chipper and chip their vegetation and either haul the chips away or keep them on site, to be determined at registration.
