This FREE Drop Off Chipper Event is happening this month on Saturday, March 15th in Camarillo! This event is being held at Camarillo Heights Elementary School from 8:30AM – 2:30PM and is open to any Camarillo resident living north of Las Posas Rd, between Spanish Hills Country Club and St. John’s Hospital. Reservations are encouraged and appreciated but not required. This is a great opportunity for residents to clear any excessive or hazardous vegetation! Make sure to do the vegetation work ahead of time and then bring it to the park to be chipped and hauled away. Learn more about this event at VenturaFireSafe.org/chipper. 

Our Chipper Program provides chipping services for neighborhoods and individual homeowners in Ventura County free of charge. These vegetation management programs reduce the flammable fuel load and increase weed abatement activities in communities that border the wildland-urban interface threat zones.
